Mi Evolución en Hispanicize / My Evolution at Hispanicize #Hispz15 #VayamosJuntos

I’ve always tried to live my life not by days, nights, dates or years…but rather through experiences. And every year since 2012, I have been Blessed by being able to live the experience of attending Hispanicize in Miami! This time, like the past two years, I was invited to be a Toyota ambassador, and my parents and I traveled from Orlando in style, thanks to the 2015 Toyota Sienna we were lent.

Many times, I am a person of many words. But when it comes to describing Hispanicize and relating these extraordinary moments, I really fall short in the verbal department. So, enjoy a recap of these events with few words…and many pictures and videos.  😉

For me, Hispanicize was very different this year. Not only was it a new and super-evolved experience as it always is; but I too, have evolved, thanks to the friends and community I have found here. I started in this environment in 2012 feeling like a high school “freshman,” and now I feel that I have learned and acquired tools to help me take the reins of my own life and career.

Thanks a million to Manny for his support, friendship, and for entrusting me with the responsibility of organizing the interviews. I learned so much during that week that I couldn’t have learned during a year at college.

Many thanks also to the whole team– Jay, Katherine, Angela, Cristy, Piera, and the rest– who put together such an extraordinary event.

Thanks to Toyota Latino for always supporting and giving me encouragement, not just to me, but to the Hispanic community of bloggers and influencers. They always have their finger on the pulse of our culture and what we value most. I love you all very much and it was an incredible honor to once again be an ambassador for Toyota.

Obviously, I wouldn’t be the person I am, nor would I be able to realize my dreams, were it not for the support and love from Papi y Mami. You’re the air I breathe, and my reason for choosing the career I’ve chosen. I adore you.

Y Dios.

And God. He takes care of everything. While I continue replaying in my head every detail, every moment of Hispanicize, it seems so obvious to me that God was behind it all.

It’s true what we say. “You never know what to expect at Hispanicize.” I had no idea of the magnitude of the Blessings I would receive. And I cannot wait to see where this journey takes me next.
