El sábado asistí a la inauguración oficial del nuevo restaurante de Dunkin’ Donuts aquí en Orlando, en mi vecindario.
Me encontré a mi amiga, Myrah de Coupon Mamacita y Mamacita la Cuponera, y su hija, Marilú, de MIT Latina.
On Saturday, I attended the grand opening of the new Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant here in Orlando, in my neighborhood.
I ran into my friend, Myrah of Coupon Mamacita and Mamacita la Cuponera, and her daughter, Marilú, of MIT Latina.
El restaurante estaba lleno, y afuera también tenían celebración con una orquesta en vivo, té helado y chocolate caliente, y muestras de donitas. Sin embargo, la mayoría de la gente querían entrar a experimentar el restaurante.
The restaurant was full, and outside there was also celebration with a live orchestra, iced tea and hot chocolate, and samples of donut holes. However, the majority wanted to go in and experience the restaurant.
Cada una probamos un desayuno del menú, que incluye una bebida. ¿Puedes adivinar cual fue mi bebida? ¡Por supuesto que pedí un cappuccino! Me comí un sándwich de huevo, tocineta, y queso en un bagel. ¡Estuvo delicioso! ¿Y el cappuccino? Fue sorprendentemente exquisito.
Each of us had a breakfast meal from the menu, including a beverage. Can you guess what my drink was? A cappuccino, of course! I ate a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. It was delicious! And the cappuccino? It was surprisingly exquisite.
Compartimos comida, bebidas y conversación genial. Después nos preguntaron si queríamos probar alguna otra bebida…
We shared food, drinks, and great conversation. Then, we were asked if we wanted to try another beverage…
El latte de eggnog congelado (ponche de huevo) fue rico…no fue demasiado dulce para mi gusto. Fue perfecto.
The frozen eggnog latte was wonderful…not too sweet for my taste. It was perfect.
Estén pendientes, porque pronto tendrán una bebida que a lo mejor les interese mucho…¡café con leche, al estilo cubano o puertorriqueño!
